Information you share

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. Please do not include sensitive personal information or full payment-card details.

When you buy a gift, the recipient’s email and your optional message are used to process the order and send the gift email.

For multi-recipient gifts, we process the recipient emails and optional names to create separate gifts and a private downloadable list of claim links. No multi-recipient emails are sent. CSV files are read on your device, never uploaded or stored by us. You must have an appropriate lawful basis to provide others’ details, such as a legitimate, expected gift relationship, and meet your own data-protection obligations.

To provide purchases and gifts, we process purchase and recipient email addresses, order details, gift messages, and token balances. A random wallet key is stored in your browser to keep your Fortune Tokens on your device. Only share someone’s email when you have a legitimate reason to send them a gift.

Technical information and browser storage

Our hosting services may process IP addresses, browser information, page requests, and error logs to deliver the website, protect it, and diagnose problems. Error reporting may include the page address and details of an error.

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google and shares technical information such as your IP address. Photos may be delivered through our hosting service’s image network.

Where sign-in is used, essential browser storage keeps the session available. The current site does not include advertising pixels or marketing trackers added by us. This notice will be updated if optional tracking is introduced; consent will be requested where required.

Why information is used

We use support correspondence to answer your requests. Essential technical information supports website delivery, security, and troubleshooting. The relevant legal bases are our legitimate interests in operating a secure website, taking steps at your request, and fulfilling legal obligations where applicable.

Order and delivery information is used to fulfil purchases and gifts, and required transaction records are kept for accounting and legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use gift recipients’ addresses for marketing.

Service providers and payments

Lovable Cloud supports the website’s hosting and technical services. Providers may process information needed to operate the site on our behalf. Google processes font requests under its own privacy terms.

Stripe processes all payments and handles payment details; Digital Fortune Sticks never stores full card numbers or security codes. Gift emails are sent through our email-delivery provider.

Providers may process information outside your country, including outside the EEA. Where data-protection law requires it, transfers must be covered by appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. Contact us for details of safeguards relevant to your information.

How long information is kept

Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the request and related issues. Technical records are subject to hosting-provider retention settings. Information may need to be retained longer where law requires it or to resolve a dispute.

Purchase and gift records are kept as long as needed to provide your tokens and meet legal and accounting obligations.

For multi-recipient orders, abandoned unpaid recipient lists are removed after 24 hours, and recipient names and email addresses after 30 days, with hourly cleanup allowing up to one additional hour. Gift claim codes and essential payment records remain to support redemption and accounting. Copies you download are under your control and responsibility. A private order-access key stored in your browser protects your order list; clearing it loses access.

Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Write to hello@digitalfortunesticks.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity, and legal record-keeping duties may limit deletion. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
